SWEB

 Secure, interoperable, cross border m-services contributing towards a trustful European cooperation with the non-EU member Western Balkan countries

 The overall objective of the SWEB project is to develop a secure, interoperable, open, affordable platform upon which secure cross border government services will be built.

 SWEB is a research and technological development project to develop new “mGovernment” tools and services affordable by the Small Governmental Organisations (SMGOs) enhancing trustful cooperation with the neighbouring countries of the Western Balkans appropriate for all low-budgeted infrastructures hosted in SMGOs.

 Secondly, SWEB is a trial and “take-up” project designed to test and validate the new prototype technologies, ensuring their applicability in non-advanced technological infrastructures and their dissemination to other underserved IT communities for potential redeployment and broad application.

 The SWEB project receives research funding from the European Union's Sixth Framework Programme.
